Wyndham Bison Ranch

Spectacular Scenery and Old West Delights. Welcome to Wyndham Bison Ranch and Arizona’s Rim Country, a land of diverse rock formations, stunning canyons and lushly forested mountains, where you can truly capture the essence of the Old West lifestyle. Whether your ideal getaway involves horseback riding to ancient petroglyphs, hiking through deserts in bloom or mountain biking rugged trails, you’ll be swept away by the beauty of the natural surroundings.

Reconnect with nature, break away from the daily grind and renew your perspective with a mountain escape.
Feel the rush when you hit the slopes in this powdered wonderland.
While Bisontown is not short on entertainment, the nature-packed playground it resides in is compelling. The Sitgreaves National Forest offers an amazing view from the Mogollon Rim with its 7,600-foot elevation. Bring your fishing gear and try your luck at one of the numerous cold-water lakes and streams. Explore the Kinishba Ruins, a 600-room ancestral Puebloan village located in the White Mountains, or head to Lyman Lake State Park to hike a 1-mile trail lined with petroglyphs created by the Anasazi Indians in 300 B.C. Investigate the world’s largest concentration of petrified wood at the Petrified Forest National Park or visit the “mini-Grand Canyon,” Canyon de Chelly. For a more recent historical site stop at Fort Apache, home to the First and Twenty-first Infantry during the time of Geronimo and Cochise.
