Getting to This Resort
From I-26: Take Exit 67 (Columbus/Tryon). Turn onto Highway 108E, go 6 miles to Mill Spring, NC. Turn onto Highway 9N, go 11 miles. Turn right on Highway 64 / 74-A East. Turn left onto Bill’s Creek Rd. (State Rd. #1008), go 2.5 mi. and turn left onto Buffalo Creek Rd. Go 1 miles to the Wyndham Resort at Fairfield Mountains Information Center on the left.
From I-40: Take the Marion/Sugarhill Exit 81. Turn south off exit ramp onto Sugar Hill Rd. (State Rd. #1001), go 4.5 mi. Turn right again and continue on Sugar Hill/Montford Cove Rd. Go 7 miles and turn right onto Bill’s Creek Rd. (State Rd. #1008). After 7.5 mi., turn right onto Buffalo Creek Rd., then 1 miles to the Registration Office located in the Wyndham Resort at Fairfield Mountains Information Center on the left.
From I-85: Take I-85S out of Charlotte to 74W at Kings Mt. Follow until the Forest City/Spindale exit. Take 74A west to Bill’s Creek Rd. (approx. 17 mi.), turn right. Go approx. 2.5 miles to Buffalo Creek Rd. Turn left on Buffalo Creek Rd. Welcome Center will be 1 mile to the left.
