Nearby Attractions

Apart from the excellent golfing opportunities there is so much to see here. Not to be missed is the world’s largest observatory, Kitt Peak. Located on top of a rugged mountain range, it features the world’s largest collection of telescopes and frequently contributes to important astronomical discoveries. The Arizona Sonora Desert Museum is a must see — a fusion experience of zoo, botanical garden, art gallery, natural history museum, and aquarium. For something out of this world take a tour of Biosphere 2 — the world’s largest man made controllable environment — where glass enclosures contain a rainforest, an ocean with a coral reef, mangrove wetlands, savannah grassland, a fog desert and more. Find a taste of the colorful Old West at Tombstone — site of the 1881 shootout at the O.K. Corral — and enjoy shootout reenactments and horse drawn carriage tours. It’s a short drive to visit another country — Mexico — make the border crossing at Nogales or stay local where the city lights of Tucson are minutes away, providing easy access to shopping, fine dining and entertainment.
