Wyndham Ramada Resort Golden Beach
Serious Relaxation, Aussie-Style. It’s said that there’s never a dull moment on Australia’s stunning Sunshine Coast, and the coast is exactly what most people seek when they visit Ramada Resort Golden Beach. You’ll find pristine family-style beaches for rest and relaxation by the sea, as well as safe waters, perfect sand, magnificent surf and excellent amenities. The Sunshine Coast motto says it all: “Just north of Brisbane. Just perfect.”
This Ramada is on Golden Beach, which is within the so-called Sunshine Coast. So what can you expect? Bright blue skies, a big yellow sun and loads of outdoor activities. Breakfast on your terrace or balcony, then frolic in the gentle waves or lounge by the pool. Compare the beaches — one for water play, another with shells, a third offering big waves — and explore the surrounding parts of Queensland on land and by sea. Surf, fish, kayak, even tour the Pumicestone Passage aboard an amphibious vessel. You’ll leave happy and refreshed.

Australia’s Sunshine Coast is the perfect mix of coast and country, a popular holiday destination for anyone looking for sun, shopping and scenery. Spend time wandering the markets and galleries and exploring waterfront parks, or take a scenic drive down the Tanawah Tourist Drive and brave the elements with a bushwalking trail. Sample fine wine and gourmet foods at restaurants perched atop mountain ranges or set alongside the surf. Enjoy the calm waters of Golden Beach with a little swimming, fishing and boating, or try your hand at surfing, diving, tandem skydiving or hang gliding. Golfers are in for a special treat: the region offers amazing courses set in majestic surroundings. If you’re up for theme parks with an educational twist, don’t miss Aussie World for a bit of Australian culture and a look at its iconic neighbor, the Ettamogah Pub. UnderWater World is Queensland’s largest aquarium and oceanarium, much of it built deep beneath the ground — a definite must-see. Located near the Glasshouse Mountains in the beautiful hinterland, the Crocodile Hunter’s Australia Zoo is home to more than 1,000 animals just waiting to get up close and personal with you.
